ASBESTOS ALERT
As you may be aware, the government introduced new laws in 2004 requiring
occupiers of all business premises to survey their properties in order to determine
if asbestos is present within any of the building's materials, and if so,
to create a management plan to safely manage those materials.
In 2009 there are still many premises that have not been surveyed and the HSE
and local councils are beginning to prosecute offenders.
We specialise in survey reports. We do not remove asbestos so we have no vested interests,
although we are able to recomend removal companies in the unlikely event that removal is necessary.
In most cases removal is not necessary,
and indeed the policy is to avoid disturbance of asbestos materials unless they are in a very unstable state.
